The Cures for Kids Foundation was founded in 2009 by high school student Perri Tutelman who has experiences lying in both cancer research and pediatric special needs support work. With the help of her family and friends, Perri wanted to address the issues of both childhood cancer incidence rates and the financial challenges faced by families of pediatric patients in British Columbia.
Since then, Cures for Kids has helped to save many young lives and improve the quality of life for children with life-threatening illnesses. As a non-profit organization, Cures for Kids provides funding to pediatric health institutions who offer treatments for childhood illnesses, as well as information and community awareness for the children and families who are affected. |
